YARMOUTH — Board of Assessors approves office authorization for statutory stamps. The five-minute meeting, called to order by member Pauline Israelian, unanimously authorized the Assessor's office to stamp exemption, abatement, and denial notices. Director of Assessing Andy Machado reported that the first 2026 motor vehicle excise tax commitment and the seventh 2025 commitment, together totaling $3,910,313 across 27,551 bills, will be issued January 23, 2026.
The board then convened in executive session to review real estate abatement applications under state law.
