The Board separately discussed a Nicotine Free Generation regulation, with Board member Laurance Venezia noting smoking-related health system burdens and Mary Craig citing gradual annual customer loss for businesses, while Shukla raised revenue concerns, stating 60 to 80 percent of his stores' income comes from nicotine and tobacco products.
No action was taken on either regulation; kratom discussion will continue at a future meeting.
