Yarmouth Conservation Commission approves wireless tower and seven environmental permits with mixed votes. Chair David Bernstein and the commission unanimously approved a redesigned 96-foot monopole tower for Lucas Environmental LLC at 1044 Route 28, with the compound shifted 22 feet west and disturbed hardscape reduced by 328 square feet. A seawall replacement and one-foot height increase at 10 Surfside Terrace for Thomas Grimes was approved 6-1 despite landward-neighbor objections; beach-management permits for two RJ Resorts properties were each approved 6-1 with conditions requiring advance review of nourishment material.
The commission approved Certificates of Compliance for Robert Wiggins and David McCarthy and continued hearings on a Wiggins boardwalk project to April 16, requiring removal of the boardwalk in favor of a 3-foot walking path.
