YARMOUTH — Commission on Disability approves three months of prior minutes, defers coloring book cost decision. Chair Phyllis Vennberg presided over the hybrid March 4 meeting with seven members present and one absent; Sarah O'Reilly, Director of Human Resources, attended as staff. The commission discussed the "Unexpected Friendship Coloring Book," for which Cape Tech quoted 85 cents per book with no minimum order, but tabled the decision pending O'Reilly's review of available donations account funds.
John Mitchell reported Elder Services approved distribution of commission information through Meals on Wheels pending flyer review. Mary Vilbon and Jean Boyte proposed a Chamber of Commerce newsletter reminder in April about handicapped parking requirements, while the commission also discussed conducting a town parking assessment to compile enforcement data.
