Commission on Disabilities hears Complete Streets Policy pitch from town engineers

Yarmouth Commission on Disabilities heard Complete Streets Policy presentation without voting. Town engineers Conor Clifford and Amanda Lima briefed the four-member quorum on an initiative adopted by eleven Barnstable County towns, nine in Phase 2 and four under construction. Current bids exist for Buck Island sidewalk work.

The Commission discussed possible traffic light and roundabout improvements but took no formal action. Separately, commission member John Mitchell reported progress on revising a Meals on Wheels flyer and obtaining quotes for a story book project.
