YARMOUTH — Recycling committee reviewed outreach while facility closure announced. Chair William (Bill) Glass led the Yarmouth Recycling and Solid Waste Advisory Committee's review of informational postcards designed to boost recycling awareness. Assistant Public Works Director Roby Whitehouse reported budget constraints for the coming fiscal year, prompting the committee to explore grant opportunities instead.

The demolition pad at the disposal area will close through at least September 18 for epoxy coating and drainage work. The committee also discussed how a WHDH investigation on recycling affected reported data due to air tag separation at processing facilities.
