Community Housing Committee approves slot appointments, surveys Route 28 development sites.

YARMOUTH — Community Housing Committee backs appointments to housing and preservation boards. The committee unanimously recommended Greg Wheeler to fill a vacancy on the Affordable Housing Trust left by Myra Suchenicz's resignation and reappointed Lee Hamilton to the Community Preservation Committee. Staff updated the panel on three Route 28 redevelopment sites now coordinated with the town's sewering construction schedule, with Habitat for Humanity projected to access sewer in early 2028.

The Mattacheese Utilization Committee will present four concept plans for 400 Higgins Crowell Road on March 11, 2026, featuring housing, school, sports, and recreation options.
