YARMOUTH — Conservation Commission voted 4-2 to approve amended permit for guest house at 64 White Cedar Road. The decision authorized a proposed guest house, deck, and patio in a coastal buffer zone, following a motion by Commissioner John Frost seconded by Vice Chair Paul Huggins. Commissioner Bradford Bower opposed, arguing it should require a new notice of intent rather than a permit amendment.
Conservation staff recommended approval, noting amendment procedures meet administrative requirements equivalent to a new notice. The Commission also issued five certificates of compliance allowing previously permitted work to be closed out.
