Yarmouth Conservation Commission approves $600,000 land acquisition at Nottingham Drive. The Commission voted unanimously to accept a deed for approximately 3.14 acres off Nottingham Drive and Hockanom Road, and approved a Conservation Restriction to the Trustees of the Yarmouth Conservation Trust, both authorized under Article 11 of the November 17, 2025 town meeting; Chair David Bernstein is authorized to execute all necessary documents. The Commission also issued Negative 2 and 3 determinations and Orders of Conditions on five coastal and environmental applications, with a 6-1 vote on the Awad revetment project after discussion of planting diversity and ongoing compensatory nourishment requirements.
Three cases were continued to June 4, and an enforcement order on an unpermitted patio at 21 Glenwood Street was ratified, offering the homeowner the option of removal or after-the-fact permitting.
