YARMOUTH — Energy Committee approves new officers, revises five-year plan. The committee unanimously elected Barry Margolin Vice-Chairman and Mike Ahern Secretary at its January 6 meeting. The five-member panel reviewed a draft plan with five energy tasks tied to the town's newly approved Local Comprehensive Plan, with Susan Starkey volunteering to lead community outreach efforts and Barry Margolin taking the lead on Climate Leader Communities designation.
Town Energy Manager Christine Boucher was asked to recommend revisions to the draft. The committee continues to await Select Board action on a proposal to reduce the required quorum from four members to three.
