Yarmouth Finance Committee approves FY27 Community Services budgets after extended wastewater update. The committee voted unanimously 5-0 to recommend Natural Resources, Senior Services, Recreation, and Golf budgets, and 4-0 with one recusal to approve the Library budget. Finance Director Jennifer Mullen detailed the town's $207 million zero-percent wastewater loan from the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust, borrowed in $50 million annual increments with monthly invoices between $4 million and $6 million; principal repayment begins in fiscal 2029.
Mullen reported a pending $35 million warrant article for Bayberry Hills discharge capacity expansion, requiring a debt exclusion and April town meeting vote with a May ballot.
