Finance Committee recommends FY27 Community Development and Inspectional Services budgets.

Yarmouth Finance Committee endorses FY27 Community Development, Building, and Health departmental budgets. The committee voted unanimously to recommend the budgets while deferring the $195,000 Veterans allocation pending county assessment. Departmental reviews showed Library patron visits near 110,000 with Summer Reading participation expanding to 324 students, Golf operations generating 97,000 rounds last year with modest 3-4 percent fee increases, and Senior Services recording 35,695 annual touchpoints serving a steadily growing senior population.

Natural Resources operates at level funding supplemented by grant partnerships and CPC funding for a $2.5 million waterway access project. The committee postponed recommendation of the Administration budget covering Healthcare, Retirement, and Property and Casualty Insurance until final assessments arrive in early February.
