Gray's Beach Boardwalk Repairs to Begin, Done by End of August

With summer in full swing, the town confirmed Tuesday that long-awaited repairs to the Bass Hole/Gray's Beach Boardwalk are finally scheduled to begin, with work expected to wrap up by the end of August.

The town's News Flash confirmed this morning that repairs to the Bass Hole/Gray's Beach Boardwalk are set to get underway, with completion targeted before the end of August. The boardwalk, a popular destination for residents and visitors alike, has been awaiting restoration work, and the announcement gives beachgoers a concrete timeline to plan around.

With the July 4th holiday approaching, the town is also reminding residents of a significant change to beach sticker access. Town Hall will be closed Friday, July 3, and — unlike in some prior years — there will be no special beach sticker sales hours on Saturday, July 4. Residents who still need to obtain or renew a sticker should plan to do so before the holiday weekend.
