YARMOUTH — Library Building Committee approves prior minutes and advances community outreach. Vice Chair Tom Pendleton reported that the owner's project manager has issued procurement requests and that a podcast featuring committee materials will go live after recording February 26. The committee is preparing a one-page fact sheet and scheduling public information sessions in mid-March at both South Yarmouth and West Yarmouth Libraries, contingent on receipt of financial data.
Outreach now includes the Chamber of Commerce (presentation scheduled February 25 at 3 p.m.), Senior Center, Rotary Club, and Dennis-Yarmouth Elementary School PTOs; the committee noted that St. David's, the Yarmouth Food Pantry, VNA, and West Yarmouth Congregational Church have agreed to distribute materials. The committee will notify the Select Board to fill a West Yarmouth Library user position left vacant by resignation.
