Old King's Highway Committee approves nine applications, denies one, tables solar panel request

Old King's Highway Committee · Meeting of April 13, 2026

YARMOUTH — Old King's Highway Committee approves nine applications, denies one metal-garage proposal. Chair Robert Wilkins led the committee in approving nine Certificates of Appropriateness on April 13, including fence installation, door and window replacements, and porch expansion across multiple North Dennis Road and South Yarmouth addresses. The committee unanimously rejected Craig Davis's request for a detached metal garage at 352 North Dennis Road, finding the material inappropriate in a residential area despite the structure's limited visibility.

The committee also tabled Darla Stone's solar panel installation request at 7 Linnell Lane, encouraging relocation of panels from the front roof to the rear roof for improved energy production and aesthetic appeal.
