Old King's Highway Committee approves six applications, tables one, denies one

Old King's Highway Committee · Meeting of May 27, 2026

YARMOUTH — Old King's Highway Committee approves six historic district applications in single hearing. Chair Robert Wilkins, Vice Chair Cindy Ecker, Member Paul Grimble, and Member John Grady unanimously approved solar panel installation at 41 Brush Hill Road, a new shed at 9 Thrush Trail, exterior painting at 51 Bray Farm Road North, a window addition at 56 Wharf Lane, roofline modifications at 58 Sisters Circle, and a three-season porch enclosure at 152 Thacher Shore Road. The committee tabled an 850-square-foot Accessory Dwelling Unit application at 285 Mayfair Road pending resubmission with larger, consistent drawings, and unanimously denied an existing-shed application at 260 Route 6A, finding the structure fails required roof pitch and siding standards and violates the single-shed-per-property rule.
