Old King's Highway Committee approves six applications, untables solar project

YARMOUTH — The Old King's Highway Historic District Committee unanimously approved six Certificates of Appropriateness at its April 27 meeting, including residential paint work, a fence installation, and town signage. Chair Robert Wilkins, Vice Chair Cindy Ecker, Member Paul Grimble, and Member John Grady voted to authorize Hawthorne Yellow and Blue Hydrangea for a Route 6A facade, temporary event and pole banners celebrating the nation's 250th anniversary on Route 6A for a June 20 monument dedication, and conservation area signage at three town locations. The committee also untabled and approved a modified solar installation at 7 Linnell Lane, moving all 20 panels to the rear roof following a prior committee request.
