Planning Board · Meeting of April 15, 2026
YARMOUTH — Planning Board approves mixed-use development with 11 units and four affordable apartments. The board voted unanimously to approve Bayridge Realty LLC's proposal to demolish a vacant restaurant at 645 Route 28 and 14 Appleby Road and construct a two-story building containing ten 1-bedroom and one 2-bedroom apartment, along with approximately 2,400 square feet of commercial space. Four of the residential units will be permanently affordable under a grant agreement with the Yarmouth Municipal Affordable Housing Trust.
The project includes a 24-space parking lot, on-site stormwater management, and was designed to accommodate proposed MassDOT Route 28 corridor improvements; final site design and photometric plans will be submitted as part of any required Zoning Board of Appeals relief. The board also unanimously endorsed an Approval Not Required plan adjusting lot lines at 6 and 8 Miracle Way.
