YARMOUTH — Planning Board removed STR ownership restrictions from proposed town bylaw. The Planning Board voted (5-0-1) to eliminate the section that would have limited owners to one registered short-term rental in Yarmouth, deferring commercialization questions to a future meeting while advancing quality-of-life provisions. The board also voted (6-0) to clarify that certificate revocation requires three separate violation events in a calendar year.

In a separate vote, the board voted (6-0) to send the revised Accessory Dwelling Unit zoning article to the Select Board, conforming rules to state mandates under the Massachusetts Affordable Homes Act.
