Recycling and Solid Waste Advisory Committee · Meeting of February 11, 2026
Yarmouth's Recycling and Solid Waste Advisory Committee approved prior minutes and reviewed disposal area operations. Chair Bill Glass reported that a license plate reader has been installed at the facility and that the mattress fee has increased from $25 to $35. Jeff Colby noted a transition period managing new disposal stickers for April 1.
The committee reviewed 2025 recycling data, noting declines in construction and demolition waste offset by increases in food waste. Bill Boyd is developing a school recycling presentation, and the committee confirmed the annual town cleanup is expected around April 20, 2026.
