Recreation Commission approves February minutes; director reports court resurfacing underway.

YARMOUTH — Recreation Commission approves prior minutes and moves forward with Flax Pond pickleball court resurfacing. Director Steve Reynolds reported that East Coast Sealcoating won the lowest bid, with May 1 completion target pending acceptance. The Assistant Recreation Director position has been offered to Nick Norman.

Summer Camp and April school vacation camp are nearly full, though the director flagged ongoing staffing needs for sailing and lifeguards. Commissioners discussed a May 2 Parkers' River Landing grand opening and requested that DPW address beach access grading at Sandy Pond.
