YARMOUTH — Recreation Commission approves January minutes and hears spring program updates. Chair Steve Sozanski led the meeting with eight commissioners present, reviewing a full Frozen February Vacation Week program, open spring registration, and a posted Assistant Director position with three candidates potentially interviewed by commissioners. Director Steve Reynolds reported pickleball resurfacing bids due February 9 and a field study presentation delivered to the Select Board; the Riverwalk opens May 2, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Commissioners discussed pending Municipal Use Committee action on Sandy Pond plans and potential expansion of pickleball courts.
