Yarmouth Recreation Commission approves prior meeting minutes and formally acknowledges new Assistant Director Nick Norman. Chair Steve Sozanski led nine members and public attendee Amy Frigulietti through the April 8 meeting. Director Steve Reynolds reported the East Coast Sealcoating Contract for pickleball court resurfacing will complete May 1, weather dependent, with 510 registered pickleball members.
The sailing program has hired a new director with 90 percent instructor retention; lifeguards are still being sought. The commission plans to invite Town Engineer Amanda to its May 9 meeting to discuss the rail trail and Sandy Pond signage.
