Yarmouth Substance Awareness Committee reviews overdose data for second half of 2025. The Fire Department responded to 16 overdose calls from July through December, administering 20 doses of Narcan to patients ranging from age 14 to adult; the youngest was an admitted drug user who received two doses. The Police Department recorded 20 overdose incidents where officers used Narcan (average patient age 44), with no overdose deaths in either half of the year.

Police also handled 91 alcohol incidents. The committee announced openings for Co-Chair, Board of Health/Treasurer, Secondary Harm Reductionist Treatment Provider, and Student Representative positions.
