Willow Street in West Yarmouth to close overnight Oct. 29
The Town of Yarmouth announced Willow Street in West Yarmouth will close overnight Oct. 29 into Oct. 30 so crews can install the new Cape Cod Rail Trail Bridge. The closure runs between Route 6/Exit 72 and Higgins Crowell Road, and drivers are asked to follow detour signs.
The Town of Yarmouth announced Oct. 22 that Willow Street in West Yarmouth will close overnight for bridge construction work.
The closure begins at 8 p.m. Oct. 29 and continues until 5 a.m. Oct. 30, covering the stretch of Willow Street between Route 6/Exit 72 and Higgins Crowell Road.
Crews will use the closure window to install the new Cape Cod Rail Trail Bridge across Willow Street. The rail trail is a shared-use path that runs through several Cape Cod towns.
The town asked drivers to plan ahead and follow posted detour signs for both northbound and southbound traffic during the overnight closure.
