Yarmouth Planning Board Sets Sept. 23 Hearing On Zoning Bylaw Changes
YARMOUTH — The Planning Board has scheduled a public hearing for Sept. 23 on proposed amendments to the town's zoning bylaw and general bylaw, according to a News Flash alert posted on the town's website this week.
TOWN HALL The Planning Board's Sept. 23 hearing will take up the proposed zoning and general bylaw changes, per the town's News Flash system. Separately, the Select Board issued a spotlight recap of its Sept. 15 meeting summarizing recent board actions, in a News Flash post dated Sept. 18.
Residents planning trips to the town Disposal Area should note the Construction and Demolition pad there is closed from Sept. 14 through Sept. 22 for ongoing site work, the town said. Also this week, the Cape Cod Ready Renter Program opened an affordable-housing lottery for two affordable apartments at 209 Main Street (Route 28) in West Dennis, open to income-eligible applicants.
The Health Department and Yarmouth Senior Center, working with Cape Cod Healthcare, announced an October flu and COVID-19 vaccination clinic. The town is also accepting applications for its 2026 Winter Event Grant program, which makes up to $50,000 in tourism revenue funding available to event organizers.
