Yarmouth Reopens Bass Hole Boardwalk in Full
DATELINE — YARMOUTH
The Bass Hole/Gray's Beach Boardwalk is open across its entire length again, the Town of Yarmouth announced this week, restoring the full walk out over the salt marsh toward Cape Cod Bay.
TOWN HALL
The town said the Bass Hole/Gray's Beach Boardwalk "is now open in its entirety," language that signals an end to a partial closure of the popular span. The boardwalk extends out over the salt marsh and is known for its panoramic views of Cape Cod Bay, a draw for walkers, birders and photographers throughout the warmer months.
COMING UP
Yarmouth's board and committee calendar picks back up this week. The Planning Board meets Aug. 19, followed by the Conservation Commission and the Library Board of Trustees on Aug. 20. On Aug. 24, the Community and Economic Development Committee and the Old King's Highway Historic District Committee both hold sessions, and the Select Board returns Aug. 25.
