Zoning Board approves screened porch, sign variances in routine hearing.

Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of February 26, 2026

YARMOUTH — Zoning Board of Appeals approves residential screened porch and commercial sign variances. The board voted unanimously to permit Sand Dollar Customs, LLC, to replace a 200-square-foot deck with a 236-square-foot screened porch at 90 Seaview Avenue, Unit 8H, on condition the structure not be heated or used year-round. In a separate 4-0 vote, the board granted variances to Viewpoint Sign and Awning for three signs at 932 and 940 Route 28 measuring 30, 26, and 36 inches in height, reducing overall signage from approximately 427 square feet to 75.89 square feet, conditioned on lowering the side sign below the roof line.

The board also determined a proposed change to Decision #3646 insubstantial.
