Zoning Board approves seasonal housing at Harborside Suites motel.

Yarmouth Zoning Board approves employee housing and construction permits. The board unanimously granted Hanuman Darshan LLC a Special Permit to use 23 rooms (51 percent of capacity) at the Harborside Suites motel for seasonal employee housing from May 1 through October 31, representing an increase from prior-season use of 16 rooms. Attorney Garry Blank represented the petitioner.
The board also unanimously approved a Special Permit for Sidney Horton to construct a 36-by-60-foot barn on his Denver Drive property to house a winter boat and restoration project, with screening provided by retained trees. Both approvals noted minimal neighborhood impact and incorporated prior board conditions and findings.
