Zoning Board approves three petitions; one withdrawn.

Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of January 8, 2026

Yarmouth Zoning Board approves three special permits on single night. The Board voted unanimously to approve expansions for Elie and Rabih Bassil's vehicle-inspection garage at 1308 Route 28, with conditions requiring used-car parking behind the building and additional plantings, and for Kevin and Julie Decoteau's two indoor batting cages at 200 Mid-Tech Drive, West Yarmouth. The Board also voted 4-1 to approve a Special Permit for Vitaly Bulgakov and Marina Bulgakova's second-floor residential addition at 177 Seaview Avenue, which raises foundation height to comply with FEMA flood-elevation requirements, then unanimously allowed withdrawal of a companion Variance request without prejudice.
