Zoning Board approves Wicked Waves water park reconfiguration plan.

Yarmouth Zoning Board unanimously approved a special permit for Wicked Waves Water Park reconfiguration. Owner Joe Marrama and his team, represented by Attorney Andrew Singer, will relocate 20 inflatable rides to the former Salty's restaurant property and install 22- to 23-foot water rides at the main park site. The board voted 5-0 to grant the permit for the amusement and recreation use at 518 and 540 Route 28 in West Yarmouth.
The expansion will add 10 to 15 employees and 10 additional certified lifeguards while standardizing operating hours at 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. A separate petition for a second-floor addition in South Yarmouth was withdrawn without prejudice pending submission of complete foundation and septic system documentation.
