Disability Commission selects Seafood Sam's for 2026 EMBIA Award

Yarmouth Disability Commission votes unanimously to honor Seafood Sam's South Yarmouth with EMBIA Award. Chairperson Drew Krauss and Vice Chair Jessica Simmons will present the nomination to the business. The Commission approved June 2026 meeting minutes unanimously and discussed establishing annual goals and developing a workflow process.
Director of Senior Services Diane Kane briefed the Commission on Senior Center accessibility improvements, including planned bathroom renovations, hallway widening, and parking lot modifications with curb cuts and tactile ramps scheduled for completion within one year.
