Golf Committee Reelects Chapman; Wastewater Plan Advances

Yarmouth's Golf Enterprise Committee unanimously reelected Ellen Chapman as chair, Ted Deckel as vice chair, and elected Frank Zappulla as secretary for 2026-27. The committee received a presentation from the Department of Public Works on plans to direct 1.8 million gallons daily of treated wastewater to Bayberry golf course for irrigation and recycling via an expanded pond on the 4th hole or leaching pits on the 9th hole and driving range, with an expected 18-month construction timeline and minimal golf impact. Membership totaled 1,461, up 72 from 2025, with member rounds increasing by 948 overall.
