Yarmouth golf courses add 20 members, boost revenues. The Golf Enterprise Committee met May 18 to hear spring updates from Chair Ellen Chapman and golf operations staff. Total membership climbed to 1,102, an increase of 20 from 2025, with year-to-date revenues $150,000 higher than prior year.
Capital projects underway include patio construction at Bayberry with completion expected in early June, lightning detection systems at both courses operational by June 1, and course improvements including opening the 5th green at Bass River on May 22. The committee approved three refund requests and denied one, and heard from Assistant Town Administrator Amy Friguletti regarding the town's $400,000 annual assessment of golf revenues for FY 2026.
