Zoning Board · Meeting of August 27, 2026

Yarmouth's Zoning Board of Appeals approved year-round use of two Pond Street cottages and a duplex condo conversion. The board voted 5-0 on a special permit for Isabella Marino at 31 Pond Street, relocating one cottage about two feet and modifying a 2003 decision that limited occupancy to April 1 through Nov. 1. Attorney Paul Tardif said the cottages total about 736 square feet and are limited to one bedroom and two occupants each.

The board also voted 5-0 to let Michael and Linda Kearney convert their 11 Gate Way duplex to two condominiums. Visual Signs withdrew a variance request to wrap vehicles at 140 Cranberry Lane after Chairman Sean Igoe said "you really need to get yourself a garage in a commercial zone."
