Board postpones decision on farm license applications at Mill Lane
Board of Health · Meeting of July 20, 2026
Yarmouth Board of Health postpones farm license decision for closed counsel session. The Board voted unanimously on July 20 to schedule a working meeting where members can consult town counsel before ruling on stable and goat license applications from Natasha and Oliver Brahmst at 88 and 100 Mill Lane. The applicants propose a commercial farm selling flowers, vegetables, and baby goats, with three to four does on 1.44 acres of their 16-acre property.
Residents raised concerns about water-quality impacts on Hallett's Mill Pond, animal density, manure management, and traffic.
