RASWAC renews Burlingame, submits outreach budget to Good Works

YARMOUTH — The Recycling and Solid Waste Advisory Committee renewed Harold Burlingame's membership and sought $700 for outreach materials. Chair William Glass requested the $700 from the Good Works Committee, with Assistant Public Works Director Roby Whitehouse flagging the need for a fall budget review. The committee also received updates on disposal facility operations: a replacement fuel depot will transition from underground to above ground tanks pending Finance Committee approval, construction is underway on a new push wall at the Construction and Demolition area, and lithium ion batteries are being diverted through ReWorld to the Battery Network.
