Wastewater Project Advances with Contract 6 Bid and Revised Timeline

Water Resources Advisory Committee · Meeting of February 2, 2026

Yarmouth's $207 million wastewater project extends completion to January 2028. The Water Resources Advisory Committee received updates on the Phase 1 initiative, with the main Water Resource Recovery Facility construction now pushed five months past the original September 2027 target due to weather delays. Contract 1, awarded to CH Nickerson for $97.55 million, is advancing with formwork and concrete installation underway.

Robert B. Our is the apparent low bidder for Contract 6 at $19.3 million. Revoli Construction, halted after a fatal trench collapse on November 18, 2025, is resuming work under newly mandated full-time safety consultant oversight required by the Select Board.
