Yarmouth wastewater construction advances despite winter delays

Yarmouth wastewater advisory committee advances six construction contracts through winter delays. The Water Resources Advisory Committee, chaired by Spyro Mitrokostas, received updates from Wright-Pierce and CDM Smith on groundwater permitting and construction progress. The committee noted that most projects are advancing despite winter weather halting concrete production; Contract 1 (CH Nickerson) is now scheduled for January 2028 completion, and Contract 6 (Route 28 from Higgins Crowell Road west) received a $19.3 million low bid from Robert B.
